If your walls or ceilings are looking rough and sounding hollow, they can be made sound and smooth by removing any loose, blown areas, making good with plasterboard or bonding before taping all cracks and plastering the walls. Good as new! If the walls are too far gone for that, they can be removed back to the studwork and fully boarded and plastered. New plaster can then be lined or painted.
